Optimization of the Drill Method on the Ability to Write Biographical Texts

Abstrak

Biographical Text of students of class XI Madrasyah Aliyah Swasta Alwashliyah 12 Perbaungan in the academic year 2021 – 2022. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a Pretest – Posttest Nonquivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all class XI MA Private Alwashliyah 12 Perbaungan Academic Year 2021 – 2022 with the sample being the experimental class XI Religion 1 MA and the control class being class XI Religion 2 MA. Data collection Optimization of writing biographical text using the test method. The results showed that the ability to write biographical texts in the experimental class was higher than the control class. The average experimental class is 78.89 and the control class average is 64.94. Based on the t-test calculation, a significant value of 0.391 > 0.05  means that the data variance between class XI Religion and class XI Religion 2 is homogeneous or the same with T count 8.290 >  t table 1,99085  then H_O is rejected and H_a is accepted, which means there is a difference in average.
