Analisis Hubungan Stres Akademik dengan Kualitas Tidur Mahasiswa Tingkat Awal Pendidikan Multimedia Kampus UPI Cibiru

Masalah stres akademik dapat mengganggu kualitas tidur, sehingga mengurangi persentase Rapid Eye Movement (REM), yang sangat penting untuk konsolidasi memori. Mahasiswa yang tidur kurang dari 6 jam per hari berisiko mengalami penurunan kinerja akademik. Masalah stres akademik juga mengancam kesehatan fisik dan produktivitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat stres akademik dan kualitas tidur mahasiswa tingkat awal Program Studi Pendidikan Multimedia di Kampus Cibiru Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan ukuran sampel (n) sebanyak 40 subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua alat ukur, yaitu Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) untuk kualitas tidur dan Academic Stress Inventory (ASI) untuk stres akademik. Analisis korelasi Spearman Rank juga dilakukan. Hasil kuesioner ASI menunjukkan 17 mahasiswa (42,50%) mengalami tingkat stres sedang, sedangkan kuesioner PSQI menunjukkan 25 mahasiswa (62,50%) mengalami kualitas tidur sedang dengan masalah ringan. Analisis korelasi Spearman Rank menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat stres dan kualitas tidur, dengan koefisien korelasi 0,619 yang menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar mahasiswa Pendidikan Multimedia Kampus Cibiru UPI mengalami tingkat stres akademik dan kualitas tidur sedang, dan hubungan yang signifikan ditemukan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Selain itu, penting untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut yang melibatkan lebih dari satu variabel independen untuk studi lain.
